I’m not arguing pay gaps exist in other industries, but here is a thought. Back in the day most of the early shows were started by Men. Men got a head start. This means those shows might have a bigger audience. A bigger audience would mean more potential revenue. Now if this study shows two shows with the same audience and the male-hosted show is making more — that’s a problem.
